If you don’t want to make a complaint to your NDIS service provider, or they haven’t fixed the issue, the NDIS Commission can help.
You don’t have to wait for something to get really bad. If something feels wrong, it’s okay to speak up. The NDIS Commission is there to listen and support you.

What is the NDIS Commission?
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is an an independent government agency that makes sure NDIS services are safe and high quality. They:

Listen to complaints about NDIS service providers

Make sure providers follow the rules

Help keep people safe from harm, abuse, or neglect

Protect the rights of disabled people
If something goes wrong with your NDIS supports, the NDIS Commission is there to help fix it and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

What types of complaints does the NDIS Commission handle?
The NDIS Commission only handles complaints about NDIS service providers and workers, including when:
- something has gone wrong
- something is making you upset
- you are unsafe or have been treated badly
- you are worried about being charged too much money
Contact the NDIA to make a complaint about:
- the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)
- access to the NDIS
- decisions about NDIS participant plans.
Contact the Australian Human Rights Commission for complaints about disability supports unrelated to the NDIS.
