About Right to be Heard

About the NDIS Right to be Heard Project
NDIS participants can face multiple barriers when raising concerns about their supports and services. Disabled young people face additional and unique barriers.
The Right to be Heard online hub consists of online tools and resources to assist disabled young people to:
- Learn about and understand their rights.
- Build their confidence and ability to raise any concerns they may have with their NDIS supports and services.
- Educate providers on how to make sure young people’s voices are heard and needs are understood.
This project is led by disabled young people from all over Australia. They formed a Project Advisory Group to co-design and co-create resources for the online hub. This includes Jorja, Isla, Anneka, Hendrix, Willow, Victoria, Patrick, Anna, Maya, Eleanor, Thali, Elina and Georgia.
